Hi, I’m Alexis! I’m the face behind Alexis Guidas Photography, and I’m so excited you’re here! Whether you’re a new visitor or have been following along for a while, I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself properly.
I’m a 20-year-old, self-taught photographer based in Pennsylvania, and my camera is basically an extension of my arm. But photography for me isn’t just about pretty pictures, it’s about capturing life as it really is. The belly laughs, the quiet snuggles, the chaos of family sessions (toddlers, I’m looking at you 🤪), those are the moments I live to preserve. Real, messy, beautiful life—that’s my jam!
When I’m not behind the lens, I’m a kindergarten and first-grade teacher’s aide, spending my days with over 20 little humans in each classroom. Those days have taught me patience, creativity, and how to roll with the unexpected—skills that come in handy when photographing kids (and families!) too.
At home, I’m a total homebody. I love cozy movie nights, binge-watching Netflix (always taking recommendations!), and occasionally diving into a good book. I’m currently reading The Housemaid before watching the movie. Life at home is lively thanks to my two pups: Glacier, a Siberian Husky, and Willow, an English Bulldog. They make every day a little brighter and a lot more chaotic!
Photography has also given me adventures I never expected, and one of my biggest dreams is to grow my business beyond Pennsylvania, capturing stories across new places, new skies, and new experiences.
But honestly, this space isn’t about me—it’s about you! Your people, your milestones, your love, your chaos. My purpose is to preserve the moments you’ll never want to forget, so when you look back years from now, you don’t just see them—you feel them!
